Crown & Bridge

Crowns and bridges are usually made out of porcelain or metal alloys and they will strengthen and protect your teeth as well as enhance your smile. Crowns are placed over your weakened or decayed tooth after they are reduced in size, to allow the crown to fit over the tooth like a thimble.

A bridge replaces a missing tooth by placing crowns on the teeth on either side of the missing tooth and another false crown is attached between them to replace the missing tooth. Crowns are extremely durable and require only the same care as your own teeth.

Performed Cases by Dr.Rajat K Jain

All of following patient cases are actually performed by Dr.Rajat K Jain at our Clinic.

Case 1

Very unapealling anterior teeth.Porcelain veneers were placed on upper arch. The patient may have his lower teeth done in the future.

Case 2

Black tooth on the upper anterior area. Severe decay.Bleaching procedure was completed before the crown procedure. Full porcelain crown was used to restore the tooth.

Case 3

This patient did not like the black margins on her 4 crowns of the anterior teeth. We used 4 full porcelain/ceramic crowns to replace the 4 previous porcelain-fused- to-metal crowns. Notice the black margins are gone, and the crowns look much more life like.

Case 4

This patient was very unhappy about the appearance of her crowns.Periodontal procedure was used to correct the inflamed and reddish gingival tissue.Afterwards, full porcelain/ceramic crowns were used to replace all the crowns with black margins.
